Gowtam SSC is a 2005 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by P.A. Arun Prasad. The lead cast includes Navdeep, Sindhu Tolani, Madhu Sharma, and Bhanupriya. The story follows Gowtam, the youngest son of a retired collector, who fails his SSC exams and is thrown out of his home. He becomes a mechanic, invents a high-mileage carburetor, and secretly prepares for the civil services exam. The film won the Nandi Award for Third Best Feature Film in 2005. Its music was composed by Anoop Rubens with lyrics by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry. The audio was launched in December 2005 at the residence of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Storyline

Gowtam is the youngest son in a family of overachievers. He fails his SSC exams and his father throws him out. Homeless and heartbroken, he finds shelter with a kind tutor named Janaki. He works as a mechanic and secretly dreams of becoming an IAS officer to win back his father's love.
