
Sri Manjunatha(2001)
'Sri Manjunatha' is a 2001 Indian Telugu devotional film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. The lead cast includes Arjun Sarja, Chiranjeevi, Soundarya, Meena, and Ambareesh. The story follows Manjunatha, an atheist who hates Lord Shiva, but slowly transforms into a great devotee through his wife's love and divine intervention. The film is based on the life of Bhakta Manjunatha of the Kotilingeshwara Temple. It was partially reshot in Telugu from the original Kannada version, with Chiranjeevi's scenes redone and Brahmanandam replacing Dwarakish. The film was screened at the International Film Festival of India and won Karnataka State Film Awards for Best Art Direction and Best Lyricist. It was released on 22 June 2001 worldwide.

Storyline
Manjunatha is an atheist who openly hates Lord Shiva. He marries Katyayini, a devoted Shiva worshipper, and they have a son. Through his wife's patience and a series of miracles, Manjunatha begins to change. He must complete the Koti Lingam Puja before his enemies and his own death stop him.
