Samudram(1999)
Samudram is a 1999 Indian Telugu-language action film co-written and directed by Krishna Vamsi. The film stars Jagapati Babu, Sakshi Shivanand, Srihari, Prakash Raj, and Ravi Teja. The story follows Sagar, a young man who is framed for the murder of an honest police officer and sentenced to life in prison. He escapes from custody to clear his name and protect his family from the real criminals, a pair of ruthless brothers who run a smuggling and political empire. The film is noted for its raw action sequences, strong emotional core, and the directorial style of Krishna Vamsi. It won three Nandi Awards, including Best Villain for Tanikella Bharani. Samudram was produced by J. Bhagavan and D. V. V. Danayya under the Sri Balaji Art Creations banner and released in 1999.

Storyline
A happy-go-lucky young man named Sagar witnesses a brutal murder committed by a powerful politician and his thug brother. The killers frame him for the crime, and he is sentenced to life in prison. To save his family from the same criminals, Sagar must escape from jail and fight to prove his innocence.
