Bhairava Dweepam(1994)
Bhairava Dweepam is a 1994 Indian Telugu-language high fantasy film co-written and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna as Vijay and Roja as Princess Padmavati, with Vijaya Rangaraja portraying the antagonist Bhairava. The story follows Vijay, a young man raised by a tribal chieftain, who must rescue Padmavati from the evil wizard Bhairava, who plans to sacrifice her for immortality. Set in a world of magical islands, flying horses, and black magic, the film blends folklore with adventure. Produced by B. Venkatrama Reddy under Chandamama Vijaya Pictures, the film was a major commercial success, completing 100-day runs in 28 centres. It won ten Nandi Awards, including Best Director and Best Actress. The film is regarded as a landmark in Telugu fantasy cinema for its practical effects and imaginative storytelling.

Storyline
A brave young man named Vijay, raised by a tribal chief, falls in love with Princess Padmavati. But the evil wizard Bhairava kidnaps her to use in a ritual that will make him immortal. Vijay must journey to the dangerous Bhairava Dweepam, battle monsters and curses, and save the princess before the full moon night.
