April 1 Vidudala is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film directed by Vamsy. It stars Rajendra Prasad as Divakaram and Shobana as Bhuvaneswari. The story follows a videographer who lies to impress a woman and agrees to speak only the truth for a month. Set in a railway colony in Rajahmundry, the film blends humour with serious themes of honesty and sacrifice. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film won the Nandi Award for Best Audiographer. It was remade in Tamil as Sathyavan (1994) and in Kannada as Mr. Harishchandra (2001). The film is available on Prime Video.

Storyline
Divakaram is a cheerful videographer who lies to get what he wants. He falls for Bhuvaneswari, a railway clerk who values honesty. To win her love, he agrees to speak only the truth until April 1st. His honesty destroys secrets, angers friends, and puts his life in danger.
