Storyline
In 1968, a couple waiting at a train station remember fleeing during the 1947 partition of India and Pakistan, when they lost their young son. They later settle in Amritsar and adopt a boy left behind in an empty house, naming him Ehsaan. Years later, the grown Ehsaan travels to Kashmir, where he meets and falls in love with a woman from his own hometown.
