M. Thirumalai is an Indian film director and producer working in Tamil cinema, known for action dramas and a career marked by lengthy production timelines. His directorial debut was Thee Nagar (2007), followed by Agam Puram (2010), an unofficial remake of the Hollywood film American Gangster (2007) starring Shaam. He founded his own production company, T. Creations, and trained as an assistant director under K. Subhash before going independent. His later works include Kasethan Kadavulada (2011), Maan Vettai (2023), and Emakku Thozhil Romance (2024).
