'Madras To Pondicherry' is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language road comedy thriller film directed by the duo Thirumalai–Mahalingam. It stars Ravichandran as Ravi and Kalpana as Mala, with Nagesh and Karunanidhi in supporting roles. The story follows Mala, a college girl who witnesses a murder and escapes by boarding a bus to Pondicherry, where an assassin pursues her. The film is notable as one of the earliest road movies in Tamil cinema and blends comedy, romance, and suspense. It was a commercial success upon its release on 16 December 1966 and was later remade in Hindi as 'Bombay to Goa' in 1972.

Storyline
Mala witnesses a gangster commit a murder and jumps onto a bus to Pondicherry to escape. A stranger named Ravi boards the same bus and protects her from a hired killer. Together, they must survive the journey while danger closes in from every side.
