Jigar Saraiya

Jigar Saraiya is a prominent music composer, singer, and lyricist in contemporary Indian cinema, known primarily for his work in Hindi films. Emerging as part of the composer duo Sachin–Jigar with Sachin Sanghvi, his career trajectory began with contributions to the Gujarati film industry and later expanded significantly into Bollywood. The duo's breakthrough came with the soundtrack for the 2011 film 'Shor in the City,' which showcased their ability to blend eclectic, contemporary sounds with catchy melodies. A major contribution of Saraiya, through the duo, has been the popularization and modern reinvention of Gujarati folk and urban musical styles within mainstream Hindi film music, as heard in hits like 'Radha' from 'Student of the Year' (2012) and 'Saibo' from 'Shor in the City.'
