She is known for her role as Maina in Begum Jaan (2017) alongside Vidya Balan, and earlier Telugu films including Chala Bagundi (2000), Manasunna Maharaju (2000), and O Chinnadana (2002), as well as MSG: The Messenger (2015). She entered the Limca Book of Records in 2010 for having three films release on a single day (December 31, 2010), and received the Uttarakhand Ratna Award that same year.
