Chala Bagundi is a 2000 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed and produced by EVV Satyanarayana. The film stars Srikanth, Vadde Naveen, Malavika, and Asha Saini in lead roles. The story follows two best friends whose bond is tested after a drunk driving incident leads to a sexual assault. The film explores themes of friendship, guilt, revenge, and redemption. It was a commercial success at the box office and won two Nandi Awards for Best Choreographer and Best Male Comedian. The film was later remade in Kannada as Bahala Chennagide. It released on 18 February 2000.

Storyline

Sivaji, an orphan raised by his best friend Vamsi's family, makes a terrible mistake when he assaults a woman while drunk. That woman later marries Vamsi and seeks revenge. Sivaji must bear her torture silently while trying to protect his friendship with Vamsi.
