Sumit Nijhawan (born 28 December 1978, Meerut) is an Indian actor working in Hindi cinema, known for playing morally complex supporting and antagonist roles across mainstream Bollywood productions. He gained wide recognition as Sarfaraz in Jannat 2 (2012) and appeared in Jism 2 (2012) alongside Randeep Hooda and Sunny Leone; his lead debut in the independent thriller Maazii (2013) won the IBN Live Award for Best Independent Film. Nijhawan has built a career as a reliable character actor across varied genres, with notable appearances in Dishkiyaoon (2014), Begum Jaan (2017), Mardaani 2 (2019), and Lootcase (2020).
