• Suresh Oberoi and Yunus Parvez first shared screen space in Ghungroo (1983) because the director needed a menacing foil for Oberoi's hero — and Parvez, then a theatre veteran, walked in, read one line, and got the part on the spot.
• In Dekha Pyar Tumhara (1985), Parvez played the heavy while Oberoi played the righteous hero — but Oberoi deliberately slowed his dialogue delivery in their confrontation scene to match Parvez's deliberate, menacing cadence, creating a tension that wasn't in the script.
• On the sets of Mazloom (1986), Oberoi and Parvez shared a room in a small hotel in Ooty because the budget was too tight for separate rooms. They reportedly spent nights rehearsing the next day's scenes by candlelight during a power cut.
• Their three-film run ended after Mazloom (1986) flopped hard — but the director of that film, R. Kumar, later said the Oberoi-Parvez face-off in the climax directly inspired the villain-hero dynamic in his next project, a B-grade actioner that became a minor cult hit in single screens.
