• Goga Kapoor was cast in Jwalamukhi (1980) because Pran personally recommended him to the director. Pran had seen Goga in a small theatre production and told the team, 'Yeh ladka villain banega.'
• In Toofan (1989), Pran deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in their confrontation scene so Goga's louder, more aggressive style would pop. Goga later said Pran taught him that 'a villain doesn't shout — he lets the silence shout.'
• On the sets of Bewaffa Se Waffa (1992), Pran would make Goga sit with him during lunch breaks and quiz him on Urdu poetry. Goga admitted he barely knew any, but Pran insisted every villain should know 'at least one sher by heart.'
• Goga Kapoor once told a trade magazine: 'Pran sahab ne mujhe sikhaya ki villain ko bhi hero ki tarah sochna padta hai. Woh mere liye teacher the, aur main unka gadha shagird.'
• Their only three films together all flopped at the box office. But the confrontation style they developed — Pran's cold menace vs Goga's explosive rage — was later copied by the writers of the 1997 TV series 'Karamchand' for the main villain's henchman.
