• Radha was the one who pushed for V. K. Ramasamy to be cast as the villain in Thunai (1982). The director wanted a bigger name, but Radha insisted Ramasamy's intensity would make the film work. She was right — that film launched their on-screen rivalry.
• In Paayum Puli (1983), Radha and Ramasamy built every fight scene around a silent count. Ramasamy would slow his movements to let Radha land her punches first, then explode into his retaliation. That rhythm — her speed, his delayed fury — made their clashes feel like a ticking bomb.
• During the shoot of Ambigai Neril Vanthaal (1984), Radha's mother would pack extra idlis for Ramasamy every morning. He was a strict vegetarian and often struggled to find clean food on set. She never told anyone — just left the tiffin near his chair before call time.
• The success of their pairing in Thunai directly inspired director S. P. Muthuraman to cast them again in Japanil Kalyanaraman (1985). That film's comedy track between them — where Ramasamy's character keeps mistaking Radha for a ghost — became a template for the 'scared villain' trope in 90s Tamil comedies.
• Radha once told a magazine: 'Ramasamy sir never looked at me as a woman on set. He looked at me as a fighter. That's why I never felt scared hitting him back.' She said this in a 1985 interview with Kumudam.
