• For Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi (2006), director Chimbu Deven cast Thambi Ramaiah as the lead. But he needed a sharp, fast-talking sidekick. He picked Sriman — then mostly a TV face — and the two clicked so hard that the film became a cult comedy classic.
