Thambi Ramaiah was already a known face; R.N.R. Manohar was cast after Siva saw him in a small role and liked his 'raw energy'.
• In Viswasam (2019), Thambi Ramaiah played the comic relief while R.N.R. Manohar played the menacing henchman.
