• Nayantara was the one who pushed for Vishnuvardhan to be cast in Billa (2007). The director wanted a different actor for the role, but she insisted he had the right screen presence. That film became their first hit together.
• On the sets of Arrambam (2013), Vishnuvardhan would deliberately break character mid-scene to throw Nayantara off. She'd then improvise a comeback. The director loved these unscripted moments and kept several in the final cut.
• Their pairing in Billa (2007) directly inspired the trend of casting a glamorous heroine opposite a rugged anti-hero in Tamil action films. Movies like Mankatha (2011) and Vedhalam (2015) copied that template.
