Partnership facts

• Seetha and M. S. Narayana first shared screen space in 'Praanam' (2003), but the pairing almost didn't happen — Narayana was initially hesitant to play a comedic role opposite a leading lady, fearing it would undercut his image. Seetha personally requested him on set, and he agreed after she promised to match his comic timing beat for beat.
• In 'Sambaram' (2003), Narayana would deliberately flub his lines during rehearsals to make Seetha laugh, then use that genuine reaction in the final take. She later said his unpredictability forced her to stay sharp — she never knew when he'd go off-script.
• After 'Vaana' (2008) wrapped, Seetha gifted Narayana a custom-made lungi with her film's logo stitched on it. He wore it to every subsequent shoot they shared, including 'Dhenikaina Ready' (2012), as a running inside joke.
