• For 'Aha Naa Pellanta' (2011), Allari Naresh was the first choice for the lead. But Vennila was a last-minute replacement after the original heroine walked out due to date issues. Naresh personally called her and convinced her to take the role in a single 10-minute conversation.
• In 'Seema Tapakai' (2011), Vennila’s comic timing was so sharp that Naresh started deliberately leaving gaps in his dialogues during rehearsals — he knew she’d fill them with improvised one-liners that made the scenes funnier. The director kept those takes in the final cut.
