Partnership facts

• Manoj Manchu personally requested Brahmanandam for Raju Bhai (2007) after seeing his comic timing in a previous film. Brahmanandam initially said no — he thought the role was too small. Manoj convinced him by promising to expand the part during shooting.
• In Prayanam (2009), Brahmanandam improvised an entire 3-minute monologue about train food while Manoj silently reacted. Manoj later said he had to bite his tongue to stop laughing — that take made the final cut.
• During Jhummandi Naadam (2010), Manoj and Brahmanandam shared a vanity van on set — unusual for a lead hero and a comedian. They spent breaks playing carrom and arguing over Telugu film trivia.
