• Before ABCD, Salman Yusuff Khan was a choreographer on the reality show 'Dance India Dance' where Punit Pathak was a contestant. Punit won the show in 2010, and Salman was one of the judges who helped crown him. That's how they first met — judge and winner, years before they shared a frame.
• In Street Dancer 3D (2020), Salman and Punit played rival dance crew leaders. Their face-off scene in the underground club — where they trade increasingly complex moves without touching — was shot in one continuous 4-minute take. Both had to memorize the entire sequence without a single cut, and they rehearsed it for 12 days straight.
• Their partnership in ABCD (2013) directly launched the career of dancer-choreographer Dharmesh Yelande. Dharmesh was a background dancer in that film, but Salman and Punit pushed the director to give him a speaking role. He went on to become a regular in the franchise and later a judge on dance reality shows.
• On the sets of ABCD 2 (2015), Salman and Punit had a running bet: whoever messed up a step first during rehearsals had to buy chai for the entire dance crew. Punit lost the bet on day one and ended up buying tea for 40 people every morning for the next week.
