• Cho didn't just act in 'Thenmazhai' (1966) — he wrote the dialogues. That film was his first major writing credit for a Gemini Ganesan starrer, and it set the template for their later collaborations.
• In 'Aindhu Latcham' (1969), Gemini Ganesan played a double role — and Cho played a character who constantly confuses the two. Cho's timing was the anchor; he deliberately slowed his delivery so Gemini's rapid-fire switches between identities would land harder.
• Cho was a political satirist and writer first, actor second. Gemini Ganesan personally insisted Cho be cast in 'Thenmazhai' because he wanted a co-star who could match his own improvisational instincts — most other actors couldn't keep up.
