• Jagan and Devadarshini first shared screen space in 'Ponniyin Selvan' (2005) because director Radha Mohan specifically wanted a real-life couple to play the leads. He felt their off-screen comfort would translate into natural on-screen tension.
• In 'Karuppampatti' (2013), Devadarshini deliberately slowed down her dialogue delivery to match Jagan's natural rhythm. She later said she realized his comic timing worked best when she gave him space to react, not when she rushed her lines.
