• They first teamed up because director K. S. Ravi Kumar wanted a pair of brothers who could switch between comedy and emotion effortlessly. Naresh was already a known comic hero, but Srinivasa Reddy was a writer first — he had to convince the director he could act. That first film, Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters (2008), was a test run that led to five more.
• In Bendu Apparao R.M.P. (2009), Naresh played the hyperactive, fast-talking lead while Srinivasa Reddy played the calm, deadpan sidekick. The trick was simple: Naresh set the pace, and Reddy undercut every punchline with a straight face. That rhythm — loud vs. quiet — became their signature across all six films.
• Their 2014 film Brother of Bommali directly inspired the trend of 'brother-sentimental' comedies in Telugu cinema. After its success, at least three other producers greenlit similar sibling-centric comedies in the next two years, though none matched the original's box office run.
• On the sets of Nuvva Nena (2012), the two shared a room during the entire 45-day shoot. They would rehearse scenes at 2 AM after the day's shoot, often rewriting dialogues on hotel napkins. Srinivasa Reddy later said that habit of late-night rewrites is what made their comic timing so tight.
• Srinivasa Reddy once said in an interview: 'Naresh is the only co-star who can make me laugh even when the camera isn't rolling. We'd be in the middle of a serious scene, and he'd whisper something stupid, and I'd have to look away to not break character.'
• In Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bhayyam (2016), their last film together, they swapped roles: Naresh played the scared, reactive character while Srinivasa Reddy played the confident instigator. It was the only time they reversed their usual dynamic, and it flopped — audiences expected the old formula.
