• Nagineedu and M. S. Narayana first shared screen space in Seema Tapakai (2011) because the director G. Nageswara Reddy specifically wanted a seasoned villain and a top comedian to bounce off each other in the same frame. Nagineedu was initially hesitant about doing comedy scenes, but Narayana convinced him on set to loosen up.
• In Venkatadri Express (2013), Nagineedu played the strict father while Narayana played the comic sidekick. Narayana would deliberately flub his lines in rehearsals to make Nagineedu laugh, breaking his stern on-screen persona — and that genuine irritation Nagineedu showed became part of the final cut.
• During the shoot of Pilla Zamindar (2011), Nagineedu and Narayana discovered they were both from the same village in Guntur district. After that, they made it a ritual to share a meal of pulihora (tamarind rice) together on the first day of every film they did together.
• M. S. Narayana once said in an interview: 'Nagineedu garu is the only villain who can make me forget my lines because I'm too busy watching him act. I'd rather be a fool in his scene than a hero in someone else's.'
• Their comic-villain pairing in Jai Sriram (2013) was so well received that the director, V. Samudra, wrote a separate comedy track for them in his next film — a trend that other small-budget Telugu films copied for the next two years, pairing a heavy villain with a light comedian for relief.
