• In Aaj Ki Awaz (1984), Om Shivpuri played the righteous father while Iftekhar was the corrupt politician. Their courtroom face-off — one calm, one simmering — became the film's most replayed scene. Shivpuri's controlled rage only worked because Iftekhar's smugness gave him something to push against.
