• Ali was the one who pushed for Rajendra Prasad to play the lead in 'Ninne Premista' (2000). The director wanted a younger hero, but Ali insisted that Prasad's comic timing would save the film. It didn't — the film tanked — but that's how their on-screen pairing started.
