• Vishal personally called Soori to offer him the comedy role in Poojai (2014) after their earlier planned film together fell through. Soori later said Vishal didn't even audition him — just trusted his timing.
• In Marudhu (2016), Vishal deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in scenes with Soori so Soori's punchlines would land harder. Soori admitted in an interview that Vishal's patience made him look funnier than he actually was.
• During Kaththi Sandai (2016) shoot, Vishal and Soori shared the same vanity van for weeks because the production budget was tight. They'd rehearse scenes together between takes, often rewriting Soori's lines on the spot.
• Sandakozhi 2 (2018) was the only hit in their four-film run, and its success directly led to Soori getting his first solo lead role in a Vishal-produced film. Without that collaboration, Soori might never have transitioned from sidekick to hero.
