Poojai is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Hari. It stars Vishal in the lead role as Vasu, alongside Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Mukesh Tiwari. The story follows Vasu, a moneylender who is disowned by his mother and later becomes the target of a ruthless businessman named Anna Thandavam. The film is set in Coimbatore and Patna. It features a mix of family drama, romance, and brutal action sequences. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Poojai received mixed reviews from critics upon its Diwali release on 22 October 2014. It was later remade in Kannada as Anjani Putra in 2017.

Storyline
