• Pradeep Rawat played the villain in both versions of Ghajini — the 2005 Tamil original and the 2008 Hindi remake. That made him the only actor to face off against Surya and Aamir Khan as the same antagonist in Murugadoss's signature film.
• In Ghajini (2005), Rawat's character 'Lakshman' delivered the line 'Naan oru thadavai sonna, nooru thadavai sonna madhiri' — a dialogue that Tamil audiences still quote when someone repeats themselves. Murugadoss wrote it specifically for Rawat's menacing delivery.
