• Nagma was just 17 when she signed Gharana Mogudu (1992) opposite Chiranjeevi, who was 37. The age gap was a big talking point, but director K. Raghavendra Rao pushed for her because he wanted a fresh face who could match Chiru's energy in the mass dance numbers.
• In Mugguru Monagallu (1994), Chiranjeevi played a triple role. Nagma had to perform separate romantic scenes with each version of him. She later said in an interview that she kept getting confused which 'Chiru' she was talking to, and he would crack jokes between takes to keep her relaxed.
• Nagma has said Chiranjeevi treated her like a younger sister on set. He personally made sure she had a separate makeup room and a female attendant, which wasn't standard practice for heroines in Telugu cinema at the time.
• The item song 'Kukku Kukku Kooku Kooku' from Gharana Mogudu (1992) became a massive trend. Nagma's dance moves in that song were copied by dozens of actresses in later Telugu films, and the tune is still played at weddings in Andhra Pradesh.
• Nagma once told a Telugu magazine: 'Chiranjeevi garu never made me feel like a newcomer. He would rehearse the steps with me for hours before the director even arrived. He wanted me to look good on screen.'
