• Boman Irani was a theater actor with almost no film experience when Farah Khan cast him in Main Hoon Na. Sunil Shetty, already a star, personally vouched for Boman after seeing him in a play — and even helped him rehearse his lines for the first few days of shooting.
• In Main Hoon Na, Sunil Shetty played the comic villain while Boman Irani played the deadpan principal.
