• For 'Naaga' (2003), director Saran cast Nassar first, then picked Sadha as the female lead after seeing her in a Telugu ad. Nassar later said he pushed for her because she had the 'raw intensity' the role needed.
• In 'Varnajalam' (2004), Nassar played Sadha's father. Their scenes together had no rehearsal — Nassar insisted on first-take improvisation, and Sadha matched his energy so well that the director kept their unscripted arguments in the final cut.
• Their only hit together, 'Anniyan' (2005), directly launched Sadha into the Hindi remake 'Awarapan' (2007) — the producers specifically wanted her because of her 'vulnerable yet fierce' performance opposite Nassar's menacing lawyer role.
• During 'Naaga' shoot, Nassar would quiz Sadha on Tamil cinema history between takes. She later said he taught her how to read a script like a director — breaking down every scene's subtext. They stayed in touch for years after the films ended.
