
Anniyan(2005)
Anniyan (transl. Stranger) is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language psychological action thriller film directed by S. Shankar and produced by V. Ravichandran. The film stars Vikram as a meek law-abiding lawyer who develops dissociative identity disorder, creating two other identities: a playboy fashion model and a murderous vigilante who punishes corruption. The cast also includes Sadha, Prakash Raj, Vivek, Nedumudi Venu, and Nassar. The story follows Ambi's struggle with his multiple personalities as he seeks love and justice in a corrupt society. The film was praised for its technical achievements, including the use of time-slice photography and elaborate set pieces. It won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects and eight Filmfare Awards South. Anniyan was released on 17 June 2005 and became a major commercial success.

Storyline
A straight-laced lawyer named Ambi is fed up with the corruption and apathy around him. His suppressed anger creates a vigilante alter ego named Anniyan, who kills corrupt people using ancient punishments. Meanwhile, his third personality, Remo, wins the heart of the woman he loves. As the police close in, Ambi must confront his inner demons and find a way to balance love and justice.
