• For Samba (2004), director Surya Pratap wanted a fresh face opposite Simran. Prakash Raj personally recommended Jr. NTR for the role after seeing his energy in a stage show. That recommendation got NTR the part.
• In Temper (2015), Prakash Raj played the villain. He told NTR on set to stop holding back during their confrontation scene. NTR then slapped him for real — and Prakash Raj loved it. He said the take became the film's most intense moment.
