• Sundeep Kishan was the one who pushed for Tanikella Bharani to play the quirky grandfather in 'Ra Ra Krishnayya' (2014). The director originally wanted a younger actor, but Sundeep insisted Bharani's deadpan timing was perfect for the role.
• In 'Okka Ammayi Thappa' (2016), Tanikella Bharani deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in every scene with Sundeep. He told Sundeep on set that the comedy would land harder if Sundeep had to wait for his reactions — it forced Sundeep to hold his pauses longer than he usually did.
