• Kamal Haasan personally called Urvashi to offer her the lead in 'Andha Oru Nimidam' (1985) after watching her in Malayalam. She was just 18 and nervous about acting opposite him. He told her, 'Don't worry, I'll carry the scene.'
• In 'Michael Madana Kama Rajan' (1990), Kamal played four roles. Urvashi was the only actress who acted opposite all four versions of him in the same film. She had to adjust her performance for each — flirtier with one, more serious with another — all in a single schedule.
