• Jagapathi Babu and Tagubothu Ramesh first shared screen space in 'Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham' (2014) because the director wanted a fresh comic duo. Ramesh was already a known comedian, but Jagapathi had never done a full-length comedy role before. The director bet on their contrasting energies — Jagapathi's deadpan seriousness vs Ramesh's manic energy — and it worked.
• In 'Nannaku Prematho' (2016), Jagapathi played the villain and Ramesh played his sidekick. But on set, Ramesh kept improvising lines that made Jagapathi break character mid-scene. Director Sukumar had to do multiple retakes because Jagapathi couldn't stop laughing. That tension — Ramesh trying to crack him up, Jagapathi fighting to stay menacing — is exactly what made their scenes crackle.

• During the shoot of 'Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham', Jagapathi and Ramesh discovered they both grew up in the same neighbourhood in Vijayawada — but never met until that film. They spent every lunch break swapping stories about local food joints from the 80s. After the film wrapped, they didn't stay in touch, but both have said in separate interviews that they 'clicked instantly' because of that shared hometown.
• Tagubothu Ramesh once said in a 2017 interview: 'Jagapathi Babu is the only actor who can make me feel like I'm acting in a serious scene even when I'm doing comedy. He doesn't laugh at my jokes — he just stares. That stare is my biggest compliment.'
