• Jagapathi Babu once said in an interview: 'Chandramohan garu never tried to overshadow me. He made sure I looked good in our scenes. That’s rare in this industry.'
• Chandramohan was the senior star when they first worked together in Ravoyi Chandamama (1999). Jagapathi Babu was still finding his footing. The director paired them specifically to give Jagapathi a strong, experienced foil — and it worked.
• In Manoharam (2000), Chandramohan played the villain while Jagapathi Babu was the hero. Their scenes crackled because Chandramohan underplayed his menace — he let Jagapathi’s emotional outbursts do the heavy lifting. Jagapathi later said that restraint taught him how to react, not just act.
