• Rajesh Khanna personally recommended Tina Munim for the lead in 'Fiffty Fiffty' (1981) after seeing her in a magazine cover. He told the producer she had the 'fresh face' the role needed.
• On the sets of 'Souten' (1983), Khanna would deliberately flub his lines to make Tina laugh during emotional scenes. She later said his playful teasing helped her relax and deliver her best performance in the film.
