• They first shared screen space in Mr. Nokia (2012), a low-budget comedy where Brahmanandam’s character hires Murli Sharma’s goon to scare the hero. The director said he cast them together because both could switch from funny to threatening in the same scene.
• In Yevadu (2014), Murli Sharma played the cold-blooded villain while Brahmanandam played a terrified sidekick. Sharma later said in an interview that Brahmanandam’s comic timing forced him to stay deadpan — if he laughed, the scene would break. So he trained himself to not react.
• On the sets of Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Brahmanandam would deliberately flub his lines to make Murli Sharma crack up. Sharma told a behind-the-scenes crew that Brahmanandam’s improvisations were so fast he had to mentally prepare for five different versions of every scene.
• Despite making four films together, they never once had a meal together off-set. Murli Sharma revealed in a 2020 podcast that Brahmanandam always ate alone in his van, and Sharma respected that boundary — they only talked shop on set.
• Murli Sharma said in a 2019 interview: 'Brahmanandam garu can make you laugh with just a blink. I had to work twice as hard to stay serious next to him. He’s the reason I learned to control my face.'
