• Brahmanandam and Tarun first shared screen space in Ela Cheppanu (2003) because director V. N. Aditya specifically wrote the comic track to pair them — he wanted a young hero who could keep up with Brahmanandam’s rapid-fire timing, and Tarun was the only one who auditioned by improvising a full scene back at him.
• In Soggadu (2005), Brahmanandam deliberately slowed his delivery by half a beat so Tarun’s reactions could land first — Tarun then fed him punchlines with a straight face, creating a rhythm where the hero set up the joke and the comedian knocked it out.
• During the shoot of Bhale Dongalu (2008), Tarun would drive Brahmanandam home every night after pack-up because the comedian’s car had broken down — they’d stop for chai at the same dhaba near Hyderabad, and Brahmanandam would make Tarun practice comedy scenes from old Nagesh movies.
