• Sivaji and Venu Madhav first teamed up in 'Srirama Chandrulu' (2003) because the director wanted a comedy duo that could match each other's timing beat-for-beat. Sivaji was already a star, but he insisted on Venu Madhav after seeing his stage act — he told the producer, 'If he's not in, I'm not in.'
• In 'Konchem Touchlo Vunte Cheputanu' (2004), Sivaji played the straight man while Venu Madhav did all the physical comedy. But here's the trick: Sivaji would deliberately flub his lines to make Venu Madhav crack up on camera. The director kept those takes because the laughter felt real.
• During the shoot of 'Mr. Errababu' (2005), Venu Madhav's father passed away. Sivaji quietly paid for all the funeral arrangements and didn't tell anyone until years later. Venu Madhav found out from a hospital bill he accidentally saw.
