• Shakalaka Shankar was a last-minute replacement in 'Raa Raa' (2018). The original actor backed out a week before shooting, and Raghu Babu personally recommended Shankar to the director after seeing him at a stage show.
• In 'Bhagya Nagara Veedhullo Gammathu' (2019), Raghu Babu would deliberately flub his lines during rehearsals just to make Shankar laugh. The director kept those takes because Shankar's genuine irritation became the character's signature reaction.
