• Chalapathi Rao and Rohith first worked together in 2003 because Rohith was a last-minute replacement. The original lead for 'Anaganaga O Kurradu' backed out, and Chalapathi Rao, who was producing the film, pushed for Rohith to step in. That film flopped, but they immediately signed two more movies that same year.
• In 'Janaki Weds Sriram' (2003), Chalapathi Rao deliberately slowed down his comic timing to match Rohith's more earnest, straight-man energy. Rohith later said that Rao's patience in those scenes made him look funnier without trying.
• During the shoot of 'Nenu Seethamahalaxmi' (2003), Chalapathi Rao and Rohith shared a room in a small lodge near the set. They would rehearse dialogues late into the night, often rewriting scenes on hotel napkins because they felt the original script was weak.
• Rohith once told a fan magazine: 'Chalapathi Rao garu taught me that comedy is not about shouting. In Janaki Weds Sriram, he made me understand that silence can be funnier than a punchline.'
