• Srinivas Avasarala wrote the role of the friend in Pilla Zamindar specifically for Tagubothu Ramesh after watching his comedy timing in a stage play. Ramesh was hesitant to take it because the role was small, but Avasarala convinced him by promising to expand the part during shooting.
• In Antaku Mundu Aa Taruvaata, Avasarala wrote the entire second half as a single continuous conversation between his character and Ramesh's. They rehearsed it for three days straight without a script — Avasarala would feed Ramesh a line, Ramesh would improvise a response, and they locked the final version on set.
• During the shoot of Nannaku Prematho, Avasarala and Ramesh shared a hotel room for 45 days. Every night after pack-up, they would rewrite the next day's comedy scenes together on a notepad, often keeping the director waiting in the morning.
• Tagubothu Ramesh once said in an interview: 'Srinivas doesn't just write dialogues for me — he writes silences. He knows exactly when I should say nothing, and that's when the audience laughs hardest.'
• The easygoing buddy dynamic they created in Pilla Zamindar directly inspired the tone of the 2014 film Oohalu Gusagusalade, which Avasarala wrote for a different pair of actors. Ramesh was the first person Avasarala called to read the script, even though he wasn't in the film.
• In all three films, Avasarala's character is the anxious planner and Ramesh's is the laid-back instigator. Avasarala admitted that he wrote Ramesh's lines to be exactly one step ahead of his own — so on screen, Ramesh always looks like he's pulling Avasarala into trouble.
