The 2010s account for 90% of everything they made together. The 2010s belonged to Nannaku Prematho; the 2020s to 302. Vennela Kishore acted in every film; Tagubothu Ramesh acted in all of them. Strictly Telugu cinema — they never crossed industries together.

Partnership facts

• They first shared screen space in Pilla Zamindar (2011), but neither was the original choice for their roles. The director, G. Nageswara Reddy, rewrote both parts after seeing them audition together — he realized their contrasting energies (Kishore's deadpan, Ramesh's manic) would bounce off each other better than the actors he had in mind.
• In Jaffa (2013), Kishore and Ramesh developed a silent rule: Kishore would set the rhythm of a scene with his slow, deliberate pauses, and Ramesh would fill every gap with rapid-fire reactions. They never rehearsed — they'd just nod at each other before 'action' and let the timing happen live.
• Their double-act in Nannaku Prematho (2016) — where they played a bumbling duo trying to scam a villain — directly inspired the comic subplot in the 2018 film Jai Simha. Director K. S. Ravikumar admitted in an interview that he cast them specifically to recreate that 'chaotic buddy energy' from the Jr. NTR film.
• On the sets of Athadu Aame O Scooter (2013), Kishore and Ramesh started a tradition: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the other a plate of gongura chicken from the nearest dhaba. By the end of the shoot, Ramesh had paid for 14 plates; Kishore paid for 2.
• Ramesh once said about Kishore: 'He’s the only actor who can make me laugh with just a blink. I don’t even need his dialogue — I just watch his face and I lose it.' He said this during a 2019 promotional interview for Edaina Jaragocchu.
