• Brahmaji and Saptagiri first shared screen space in Julai (2012) because director Trivikram Srinivas specifically wanted two actors who could bounce off each other's energy in the comedy track — he cast them as a pair without ever seeing them act together before.
• In Venkatadri Express (2013), Brahmaji played the straight-laced, panicking husband while Saptagiri was the chaotic sidekick — but on set, Saptagiri would deliberately flub his lines to make Brahmaji break character, and those genuine laugh-takes made it into the final cut.
• During the shoot of Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016), Brahmaji and Saptagiri shared a room in a small guest house near the temple set. Saptagiri would wake up at 4 AM to practice his lines aloud, and Brahmaji — a light sleeper — never complained once. He said it helped him memorize his own lines too.
• Their comic timing in Maharshi (2019) was so well-received that the film's producer, Dil Raju, greenlit a separate comedy spin-off featuring the two of them — Slum Dog Husband (2023) — making them the only actor duo from a Mahesh Babu film to get their own standalone movie.
• Saptagiri once said in an interview: 'Brahmaji garu is the only actor who can make me laugh even when I'm not in the scene. I'd be standing behind the camera and still crack up.'
• In Slum Dog Husband (2023), Brahmaji and Saptagiri swapped their usual roles — Brahmaji played the goofy, impulsive friend while Saptagiri was the reluctant, serious one. They rehearsed the switch for two weeks before shooting because neither was used to playing the other's part.
