Jaffa is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language black comedy film written and directed by Vennela Kishore. It stars Brahmanandam in the lead role, supported by Ali, Thagubothu Ramesh, Fish Venkat, and Vennela Kishore himself. The story follows Jasmine Falguna, a software engineer convicted of murder, who becomes the most influential prisoner in jail. He befriends the jailer and hatches an escape plan that goes disastrously wrong, leaving him buried alive in a coffin. The film is notable for casting Brahmanandam as the main protagonist for only the second time in his career. It received negative reviews from critics, who criticised the direction and screenplay, though Brahmanandam's performance was praised. The film was released in 2013 after several delays and is available on DVD and some digital platforms.
